Our products, applied in different industrial sectors, provide resistance, pigment properties, strength, viscosity, mechanical characteristics, nutritional value, and more.
Our goal is to ensure secure employment for as many of our fellow citizens as possible through continuous development, while at the same time, by placing our products on international markets, contribute to the economic development of Subotica and the entire region.
Modern Limestone Processing in Our Facilities in Palić and Kučevo
The processing is carried out in state-of-the-art equipped facilities with continuous quality control to meet the demands of even the most demanding customers. The total area of the plant in Palić is approximately 20,000 m², of which more than 3,000 m² is covered. At full capacity, the processing plant can produce over 60,000 tons of micronized limestone annually. The total area of the plant in Kučevo is approximately 34,000 m², with more than 3,500 m² under roof. The facility includes an electrical substation as well as a railway track. The processing capacity of the Kučevo plant is approximately 200,000 tons per year.
Limestone is a sedimentary rock primarily composed of calcium carbonate with minor traces of other minerals, mostly magnesium. Most limestone formations are of biochemical origin, meaning they were formed through the accumulation of marine shells. Limestone can also be of chemical origin, as is the case with travertine. Due to its high calcium content, limestone is generally light in color, although many variations exist.
The limestone from our quarry has a high calcium carbonate content of over 98% and a high whiteness index compared to magnesium oxide (MgO). The total certified reserves exceed 23 million tons.

The excavation and processing of the stone take place in several stages:
- removal of overburden
- blasting – in blocks or loose, depending on the processing method, stone structure, depth, and hardness
- separation
- crushing
- transportation
- storage
- final processing

The quarry in Kučevo is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery for extraction and transport, such as the Brown Lenox jaw crusher, Hyundai 290 LC-7A excavator, Hyundai HL760 loaders, MAN tipper trucks, and other necessary equipment. The limestone from this quarry has a high calcium carbonate content of over 98% and a high whiteness index compared to magnesium oxide (MgO).
